20th Night—I’m So Sorry Baby

“I probably don’t have to tell you,” Dhiar started, playing his fingers along Siros’s chest, “but I don’t tend to let myself get entangled with angels.”

“Oh!” Siros took Dhiar’s hand by the wrist and brought it up to his lips, kissing it. “If you want me to go, I–”

The hand wriggled away and the Incubus pressed his fingers to Siros’s mouth. “Shush. What I was going to say was that I typically don’t let myself get entangled with angels, because so many of them here are so vastly inferior to the dream-come-true I happen to be faced with right now.” He grinned, leaning up to replace his fingers with his lips. “Siros, the last few days have been like a fantasy. I keep thinking I’ll wake up in my shop and it’ll have all been some kind of cruel dream.”

The angel smiled and matched the kiss, breathing out softly against Dhiar’s face. “When I sensed your aura, I knew you were as kind and gentle as you’ve shown me. I have heard of you… I never thought I would have the good fortune to be the recipient of your good graces.”

Dhiar just stared up into those eyes. He had lost himself, so many times, in their sparkling depths. No matter what the light, they happened to catch it. No matter where he was, no matter where he looked, if he wanted to catch them, he would.

“You were interested in me? You knew of me?”

“Of course!” Siros brushed the back of his fingers under the demon’s jaw, over his chin and back again. “I know several people in the city who go to your shop all the time. It’s truly a unique locale in this city. Something the city needs, in my opinion.”

“Well. Thank you.” Dhiar had no idea what else to say. Someone had heard of him! He usually just consumed himself with work, with the day-to-day running of the shop and its products. His mind raced to think of whom these friends might be.

He completely blanked his thoughts when he felt Siros kissing him again. His lashes fluttered, his heart thumped, and his breath caught in his throat.

The two drifted back to the floor, to the carpets covering most of the place. Either there were carpets or cushions, usually both, and that had led to days simply relaxing together, basking in their new love.

As such, neither had worn clothes since they removed them from the rain. The excuse was that they needed time to dry, although by now they could probably have used a wash. Dhiar didn’t care. He was too busy occupying himself tasting Siros and his soft, sweet lips. He loved how they mingled with the taste of pomegranate; that first night had left him with an influence, a fixation. The taste turned his mind upside-down, all mingled together.

But Siros went well with a variety of fruits. Dhiar had personally tried every single type of juice he had in the icebox. It was almost to the point where they might actually have to go out to get more… he sighed and nuzzled up, pressing lips to lips again.

He could feel his penis filling, and what’s more, he could feel Siros growing hard against him. They had almost the same size, and it delighted Dhiar every time he beheld it. The soft skin rubbed against his. He fought back a moan halfway, turning it into a persistent hum that vibrated all through his chest.

A little wetness, a little stickiness began to mingle between them. Another series of kisses, something to lose himself in. Dhiar slowly licked along the angel’s jaw. He slipped his hand down and grabbed a buttock, feeling it, feeling it give, the softness, the flex of the muscle afterwards, the pulse of tension.

Siros took in a sudden breath, arching his back and pressing his chest against Dhiar’s. It would not be long now. Surely not long now. His wings curled around the both of them in an embrace, soft, fluffy, feathery-downy. More luxurious than any bird’s feathers were these. They smelled like flying. Just like flying.

Now the Incubus nibbled on his ear, running his fingers up the curve of his back. He would not force it, he would not rush it… it was there to be savored. His breath tickled hot against Siros’s cheek. Their hearts beat as one.

It continued to rise around him. To Dhiar, it was like composing a symphony of two, that union, that connection, merging together, melding naturally, feeling himself be lost for even a moment in another. When they mingled and touched in nature, in being, in essence, it all came to its climax. He could feel himself release at the same time as Siros, hot and sticky and wonderful. The angel’s wings stretched out far above them, almost touching the overhang.

And then the denouement. Everything slowed gradually. Dhiar could feel the stars float down around him, the same stars that had sparkled in his sight as his body answered. He still felt like he was floating. Every time, just like flight.

Then it occurred to him.

“Hey.” Dhiar kissed delicately at Siros’s face, the angel glowing as he wordlessly attempted to resolve the feelings echoing in his body. “Would you, um, ever consider taking me flying? I mean… I don’t want to impose, of course, but you know…”

For a few seconds, Siros could not answer. Every time, every time with Dhiar, it rendered him speechless. He nuzzled at the Incubus’s cheek, catching his breath and lowering his body atop the other man.

“Mm, yes. I will fly with you any time you wish it.” He placed another kiss on Dhiar’s lips. “My sweet love.”

The Incubus’s reddish cheeks turned a shade deeper pink, and he turned his head to catch Siros, to kiss him in return before he retreated too far. “Sweet love? You’re kind. Too kind.” Raising a hand, he combed through the dark-to-light locks. “You’re much sweeter than me.”

“We can discuss it in the air,” Siros replied, pulling up to his feet and offering a hand up, with a smile. “After we wash off a little bit.”
