A new chapter appears every Thursdays. This week is Chapter Twenty-Seven.

27th Night—Where You Are

Dhiar reclined on his chaise lounge, sipping some slushy drink that seemed less and less frosty with every passing moment.

“You know, I’m not really a beach person, but I really do like it here.” He adjusted the sunglasses on his face. “It’s so… ‘my pace’. You know?”

Beside him, lying on a large towel on the sand, Siros stretched out wings and arms with a steadily-spreading smile. “You mean like… taking things at your own measure? Taking them as they come? Yes… it seems that way.” He looked up at the sky, then at the crashing water, wave after wave tumbling in. “It’s remarkable that it could be so warm here and so cool in the rest of the city…”

The Incubus rolled his shoulders back, reaching up with his free hand to scratch at the centre of his bare chest. “Yes, well… that’s a part of the Abyss too. You can go one place and it’s almost always in one season, and another place will be in another. Sometimes they’re always in one season, aside from a few special occasions… fortunately, the public transportation is awfully good, isn’t it?”

Siros laughed and nodded his head, pushing himself to sit up and reaching over to rummage in the cooler they had brought. “Do you have any more of that drink? I could do with a cool-off…”

Dhiar sat his glass down and leaned over to assist, producing a chilled glass and pouring it full of the stuff, from a thick bottle. The cooler was immense, and in it they had packed enough food and drink to last easily the entire rest of the afternoon.

“Thanks!” Siros lifted his drink and sipped at it. “So why did you insist on wearing those silly trunks?” The angel, of course, was completely naked, body oiled and gleaming with the sunlight playing upon his muscles. “Isn’t it hotter that way?”

Dhiar clicked his tongue, returning the curly straw between his lips for a refreshing gulp of his own. “Clothes are funnest when you have the thrill of taking them off. Or… having them taken off by someone special.”

Siros’s brows shot up, eyes widening, and then his eyelids lowered as he leaned along the side of Dhiar’s chair. “Oh really now…”

“Really!” Dhiar tapped the tip of his finger to the tip of the angel’s nose.

“So is that why you haven’t been swimming yet?”

“One of several reasons!” Dhiar softly laughed, setting his drink on the top of the cooler. “But I could likely be persuaded.”

Siros placed his beside the other glass and hopped to his feet, wings fluttering. “Let’s have a dip!”

The Incubus curled forward and stepped onto the sand, wiggling his toes in it. “Yes, let’s–”

The thought went without completion as Siros quickly leaned over and yanked Dhiar’s shorts to his knees, sending the demon’s cock bouncing in the sea breeze. With a powerful burst of his wings, the angel was airborne before Dhiar had even an instant to react. Both of them burst into laughter.

Without any concern, the Incubus stepped calmly out of his trunks and raced to the water, reaching in and splashing up at the circling winged man. Siros descended in a spiral and scooped Dhiar into his arms, bringing him close for a kiss, lingering for a while in it.

The taste of those lips, sweetened by the fruit drink, given a salty contrast by the water around them… it made an utterly delectable treat. And two bodies rubbed close against each other, slippery with the water, yet with something of a grit in it, for it was salt water of course, like any beach. The scent in the air surrounded them with freshness and the inimitable vitality of the sea.

Siros caught himself, retreating from the kiss with a self-conscious little laugh and running his hand through Dhiar’s hair. “Sorry. I couldn’t resist.”

Dhiar only giggled and slipped away, leaping into the water and sliding through it like a dolphin, or any graceful creature of the sea. He breached the surface and leapt through the air, twisting a turn and diving again.

The angel could only watch with fascination, tucking his wings back and swimming much slower. Dhiar surfaced and flung powerful, loving arms around the other man, his Angel of Love, and kissed him again.

“Mmm… my element seems to be the water. Sometimes.” The Incubus nipped at Siros’s lower lip, then licked it. Below the surface of the water, he bumped his hips against the other man, growing more aroused with every second of contact. “Sometimes I feel like I could just curl up in a cave, or surround myself with fire, or melt into a tree… sometimes I feel like I ought to fly, just take to the sky… but I have no wings.”

Siros gave back a series of tender kisses, never taking his eyes off Dhiar’s. “Of course you do.” He stretched out his own wings, sending water splashing around the two of them. “These are yours, to do with as you will.”

Without another word, Dhiar let his hands slide down into the water, gripping at Siros’s buttocks, each taking one and clutching. One hand slipped to the front and took both of their budding arousals, gliding up and down quickly, stroking them to fullness. He grinned and showed his sharp canines, sparkling in the sun. Even in a place like this, it still excited him to be doing something thought of as so naughty elsewhere.

“Shall we make the sea a little saltier?” The Incubus leaned in to kiss down the side of Siros’s neck, to the top of his shoulder.

“Heavens yes,” the angel groaned in return, already feeling as if he could not hold on a moment longer. Between the hours of temptation on the beach and the sensation of water surging around his loins, his body felt on the verge of bursting.

“Let’s.”

With that word alone, the pulses of pleasure crashed between them like the waves met the beach, and in that instant they merged again, their thoughts and feelings united by the pleasure and the senses.
